So I can't really talk about this in detail, but a family member of mine here works with a group that handles civil lawsuits. They're representing a person who was diagnosed with Mesothelioma and is suing his former employers, saying that it was caused by inhaling Asbestos from one of their products.

I got to sit in for the Opening Statements from both the Plaintiff's side and the Defense. I've never in my life time simultaneously abhorrently wasted and brilliantly well sppent until today. I don't even know how to explain it.

By the way...does anybody know of any unspoken rules about taking audio recordings of the proceedings in a courtroom? Because there wasn't anything explicitly stated to anybody while we were attending...That's not to say I'm planning on doing anything potentially illegal or anything! Just to be safe
